libgss-dev software package provides Development and documentation files for Generic Security Services, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgss-dev
libgss-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgss-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgss-dev *
You will get with libgss-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
